In this 12-minute tutorial, Cheryl Parker introduces a method for quickly finding the "Local-serving" businesses hardest-hit by the COVID 19 closures. The method combines EconoVue's ability to search by multiple NAICs codes with resources made available by the U.S. Cluster Mapping Project (a joint effort by Harvard Business School's Institute for Strategy and Competitiveness in partnership with the U.S. Department of Commerce and U.S. Economic Development Administration).
The video introduces "cluster mapping" (local clusters vs. traded clusters), and provides tips to use the resulting groups of NAICS codes to build targeted outreach lists in EconoVue.
