FAQ: Does EconoVue incorporate SOC and O*NET codes?

The RegionVue application provides a list of occupations associated with each selected industry sub-sector. 

These occupation lists are created using data from the Standard Occupational Classification (SOC) system. The SOCs are tied to each industry sector by the SOC-CIP-NAICS-Cluster-Crosswalk. O*NET job codes are also incorporated. Each O*NET job code is an occupational code created to help relate a specific job title to an SOC code. In addition, O*NET job zone classifications, designating the amount of education and work-related experience typically required for a specific job title, are also listed.
